The following photo was taken with a 300mm telephoto lens and shows an aircraft of more than 35,000 feet under FlightRadar24 the photograph. MH17 flew at about the same altitude, 33,000 feet. I guess that (partially anyway) is as a result of my comment that they claimed they shot down an AN-26: A ie could not see the difference between this and a Boeing. I can easily say that in this case does not involve an AN-26: text anyway. Googling man image on the AN-26: a Boeing and it will show quite distinct differences between these then the wings is quite different. Reply Delete

Think this is a result of RT's explanation that MH17 considered similar aircraft that flew in Putin. Fact that it therefore would have been Putin's aircraft was the target. At 10000 m plays hardly vessel characteristics as color lines on the sides in a surface-to-air attack. Delete
One should also keep in mind that the aircraft was 300 miles off course (ie over 450km wrong).
